What's wrong with web development?
Web development is a good idea.
- You can make a site or an app that anyone can use.
- It can look and act however you want.
- You don't need anyone's approval to share your stuff, or even to charge money.
- You can make it with a free text editor and use it with a browser. Everyone has a text editor and a browser. You can also use super cool special tools.
- You can make something just for you, or you can let others use it. If others use it, it's a lot more fun.
- You can make it yourself or, nowadays, say what you want and a robot will help make it.
When does web development go wrong?
- When you make it too complicated.
- When you never stop designing it.
- When you're too worried about other people stealing it.
- When you have a patent and a trademark but no website.
It's not hard to make and host your web development. If you like, I can help. Or teach you how to do it. Or just chat about what you're working on over coffee or Zoom. Let me know.
